Watercolor Christmas In July Card

Happy Wednesday My Friends!
I had a request to show how I made the Watercolor Butterfly Card I posted last week. So, instead of just doing a video, I decided to change it up a bit and make a Christmas in July Card using the same emboss resist technique. The video will follow the supply list! Hope you enjoy!

If any of you are interested in the Festive Flurry Stamp Set or Christmas Messages, you must purchase it by August 27, 2014. It is a Christmas Carry-over stamp from last years Holiday catalog. August 28th the new Holiday catalog goes live! Yippee!!! Its my favorite time of the year

It Takes Two Soap/ Gift Box

Hello Everyone,
Today, I will be sharing with you another Soap Box. Actually it can be used for many other things also. I thought since I have some soap making friends out there I would create another box that would fit the larger homemade soaps. This box can be a small Gift Box, a Treat Box or just whatever your little hearts desires. This box will actually fit two of the larger soaps. I created a divider, which you can add if you like or not!

These are the two different versions I made. One is in Melon Mambo and the other in Pacific Point and Tempting Turquoise. I got to thinking after viewing the photos, that the Pacific Point without the flowers can very well be  for a man. Maybe change up the sentiment to a more masculine one.

Watercolored Butterflies - Thankful for You Card

Hello Everyone!
So I saw this technique watching the Stampin'Up convention on U-Stream. I had to go to my Stamping room and try it! So easy and so pretty. What you do is stamp a image using your favorite stamp set, This time I used Papillon Potpourri. ( LOVE IT!) with Versa Mark. Next you need to emboss using Stampin'Up white embossing powder. After heat setting, use Coastal Cabana reinker mixed with water or a mixture of water and alcohol. The alcohol will help it dry faster. Using your Aqua Painter you just run your painter with the reinker over your image, to give it that watercolor look. I embellished with the Sequin embellishments from Stampin'Up and stamped my sentiment on window sheet with Stazon Black ink. The sentiment is from the Good Greetings Hostess set. If you are interested in having a workshop, you can contact me at stampingwithamore@gmail.com.

I love the dimension this gives this card. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the butterflies just pop off the page. Very nice technique. Thank You Stampin'Up! Be sure to use Stazon when stamping on window sheet. It dries much faster. I used mini glue dots to hold the window sheet. Place them behind the writing.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY!
I may do a video for this card, so stay tuned! Let me know if you would like to see this technique! If you have any questions about this card, please leave me a comment and I will get to you asap!

Mini Ghirardelli Treat Box

Hello My Sweet Stamping Friends,
Hope you are having a Great Sunday! It has been a very busy weekend for me. Alot to do and my grandson Colby had a baseball tournament this weekend. So Cute! They are seven and eight. Colby is the youngest on his team and he is six! I love watching them, it's adorable. I know those of you with children and grandchildren can relate! So today's project is Quick & Easy! I found these mini Ghirardelli squares at my local grocery store. I have never seen them this small, so I believe they are new. So this box was inspired by those chocolates! (IMAGINE THAT!)  A video will follow!
