Christmas in July: Gingham Candy Treat Box 🎄

Hey friends! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Quick & Easy project — and today's is a jolly little one! If you've been following along with my Christmas in July series, you know I love using this "off-season" as an excuse to get a head start on holiday gifts (and let's be honest, to play with Christmas paper when it's 100 degrees outside 😅).

This darling little Everyday Arches treat box is wrapped up in gorgeous green Gingham Gallery designer series paper — is there anything more classic than gingham for the holidays? I finished the front with a tree border (be still my heart 🌲), a sweet green ribbon bow, and a sparkly cute button for that extra bit of sparkle.

 It's stuffed with candy canes and chocolates — perfect for stocking stuffers, teacher appreciation gifts, or just a "thinking of you" treat for a neighbor or friend. And of course, I couldn't resist finishing it off with a stamped sentiment: "May all your days be Merry & Bright." Because really, isn't that the whole point of the season?

One Suite, Three Nesting Boxes

Three's a Charm: Nesting Gift Boxes with Stitched Season! 🎁

Hello my crafty friends!

Christmas in July is officially in full swing over here, and today I am SO excited to share one of my favorite projects yet — a set of THREE nesting gift boxes made with the gorgeous Stitched Season suite!

I love a good box project (you all know this about me by now 😉), but there is something extra satisfying about making boxes that graduate in size and actually nest together. Big box, medium box, little box — stacked up, they are an absolute showstopper under the tree!

The largest box is wrapped in that stunning red patchwork using the A Stitched Season DSP, tied up with red stitched ribbon in a big, bold bow. It's giving cozy quilted Christmas morning vibes and I am obsessed.

The middle box went a totally different direction with a soft green buffalo check paper from the 2026-2028 Gingham Gallery DSP— so classic and timeless — finished with a wintry twine bow and one of the sweetest little snowflake accents.

And the smallest box? She's got a job to do! A "To: From:" tag makes her perfect for that one special little gift that needs no guessing who it's from.

Three sizes, three looks, one seriously satisfying stack. Whether you make all three or just fall in love with one, this is such a fun way to use up your Stitched Season scraps and make gift-giving feel extra special this year.

Christmas Stocking Treat Box | Christmas in July DIY

Hey, friends! 🎄☀️

Yes, you read that right — we're talking Christmas in July! If you're new around here, Christmas in July is a fun mid-year tradition for crafters for decades. It's basically permission to pull out the red and green, queue up your favorite holiday playlist, and get a head start on Christmas projects — all while it's still warm enough to enjoy a popsicle on the porch. For us paper crafters, it's the perfect excuse to dive into holiday-themed supplies before the year-end rush hits and stock starts disappearing from shelves!

So today, I'm kicking things off with one of my favorite kinds of projects: a Christmas Stocking Treat Box. If you've been here a while, you know 3D projects are my jam — gift boxes, treat holders, favor bags — and this one is an especially sweet one to ring in the season early.

This little stocking-shaped treat box is the perfect blend of festive and functional. Fill it with candy, a gift card, or a few small treats, and you've got an adorable handmade gift ready for stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, or just a sweet "thinking of you" surprise. It comes together quickly, which makes it a great Quick & Easy Wednesday project — beginner-friendly, no fancy tools needed, and so much fun to customize with whatever Designer Series Paper speaks to you.
